Just another little snippet of a story that I want to do, but lack the creative inspiration to take it further. Enjoy it if you like...

--------

Most stories start with a regular guy, living a regular life, with his regular circumstances, in a regular world, and take off with him getting suddenly thrust into extraordinary situations in which he has no prior knowledge, but he still completely rocks it.

This is not one of those stories.

The world in which this guy lives was already extraordinary, and he has years of training and honing of his natural talents to help him in the struggles to come. He was born into this world, and he has mastered every tribulation it has thrown at him. No matter how complex or chaotic, he has always risen above it and conquered it. But sometimes the hero of a tale doesn't have what it takes. Sometimes, things don't go as expected...

Most stories end with that same regular guy from his regular life, having mastered his extraordinary struggles against all odds, going home and living happily ever after. The evil defeated, the world saved, and everyone is happy and free.

Again, this is not one of those stories.

This is the story of a young man with everything that he needs to defeat any foe, the skills to surpass any obstacles, and the allies to help him do it. But as I said before, sometimes, the hero doesn't have what it takes. Try as he might, he cannot stop it. No matter how skilled he is, powerful his abilities, or loyal his allies, his fate has been decided long before he was even born. And his fate aligns with the millions of others that live their lives beside him...

This is the story of the death of a world.

--------

That's it for now. I'll try to keep this kind of thing coming, if anyone's interested. :I

I'm also working on something quite big for this, (as per the suggestion from a random Omegle chatter; you know who you are), and it's taken quite a long time to get my thoughts in order for it. Keep checking back for it, as it should be done very soon!

Cheers!
